CCCO was formed out of the need to address educational, economical, and nutritional deficiencies in the Central City area of New Orleans, LA.
CCCO incorporated on November 12, 2009 as a Louisiana not-for-profit organization and received its exempt status on April 7, 2010.
The Organization is governed by an independent, volunteer Board of Directors who oversees the Organization’s operations.
Central City Community OutReach, Inc.’s mission is to promote and develop economic opportunities for children, youth, and adults with educational and social services, including services aimed at reducing recidivism.
CCCO offers free services to the individuals and families within the community to address:
1. Poverty by affording the individuals an opportunity to obtain resources to enhance their ability to gain employment or advanced employment
2. Lack of education by providing services to receive knowledge and certifications to enhance the individuals’ lifestyles by offering free services to all with convenient days and hours of operation
3. Assist in reducing recidivism by making the resources available to the individuals in a safe, private environment conveniently located within their community
